The bottom half stays on but the top part does not. It seems like it's a double sided tape but it loses its ability to hold so it comes off all of the time. I would avoid buying this.

Worst purchase bought 2 and I have same problem with both the top falls off and have lost both such an expensive case for such low quality

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
I have had it for about a month and have enjoyed having them. I like the fact the bottom half is silicon type material as provides friction to hold the case in place. On the other hand the top cover is more of a hard plastic with two friction pads to hold the cover, not two way tape. The problem I have encountered is the cover will occassionally slide off. Fortunately it hasn't fallen off when outside my pocket or I would definitely lose it.

I have to say that I only purchase OtterBox cases for my phones because I know they are the best! have learned my lesson with the pretty cases that don’t work… However, this case (mine is actually clear) was such a let down. I didn’t even take my AirPods out of the box until my case came in the mail, and within the first day I lost the top. I did like the 2 different clips it came with.

Purchased two AirPod pro cases and even with the adhesive, the tops will not stay on!! We almost lost the lid from poor adhesion. Not a good product.

Every time I go to use my Air Pods, the top piece falls off onto the floor. I wouldn’t trust hooking it on a backpack, because I’d surely lose part of the device or the case. Very cheap item & a waste of money!

I will lead off by saying I love all otterbox products, this is the first time I feel they missed the mark. The fact that the protective lid is a separate piece makes the protection useless.

The case is in two unattached pieces and the top cover never stays on. It is always falling off and will soon be lost. Not a good buy. I’ve had an Otterbox cover for my IPhone for years, that I love, but the AirPod cover is terrible.
