I think it’s a fake not an actual pop socket

The top part featuring Pikachu cannot be removed from the base. It is not a repositionable. The adhesive came apart all over my phone case when trying to takeoff.

To swap a PopGrip, close the grip flat, press down on the top, and twist it 90 degrees to remove the PopTop, then line up and attach a new PopTop by pushing down and twisting 90 degrees again; our PopGrips have swappable tops, allowing you to change the style or design whenever you want. To remove sticky residue please use some rubbing alcohol and gently wipe it off with a cloth or cotton ball. We hope the above instructions were helpful. I absolutely LOVE the glow in the dark ghost Mickey! I love how it feels and stands my phone. BUT the dang thing kept coming off. I don’t know why this one popped off so frequently, but I do know it was very annoying. If it stayed on, I’d be inclined to leave it on all year!

Super cute, but I cannot keep the ghost top from falling off the socket. It’s supposed to “click” in, but never does. Did I get a defective one or have other people had this problem? :(
