The installation was pretty good and easy. This camera can last for a while until you might want to upgrade like I did. I love the feature of the head to toe shots with clear quality. You can also select the type of detection you want to capture on your camera with ease of control and safety. Easy to charge with a usb.

Our first and only home doorbell and it works so well! The functionality of the app is also very easy to use and shareable with different devices (Apple and Android). Charge time can take its time, but not a bother since there is no action required on my end. The subscription is worth it if you are looking for added security like video recording and app sharing with those at home.

Security in a Doorbell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation on the part of the doorbell was a breeze. It connected to our wi-fi very easily and the app works well. The battery lasts quite a while, but having an extra one doesn't hurt. It really helps because sometimes I'm alone and can't (really shouldn't for safety) get to the door. Being able to speak (with clear audio and visual) to the visitors or know when deliveries come is very helpful. My husband likes being able to watch the house when he's gone. You can't go wrong with Ring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ring battery doorbell is a great product. It is easy to install that anyone can do it. I had no issues doing it by myself. The video quality is great and not grainy at all. I love how it automatically starts recording when it detects movement. I use this for the side of my house by the gate. So far it has stood up well to the elements and seems very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doorbell looks Great, but I didn’t install it yet. The reason being, the product was not furnished with the correct mount. It was packaged with a corner mount. I had to buy the mount from another vendor costing me more money.

Can you hook up a phone from a different carrier?

The Ring Video Doorbell Wired and Ring Chime Hard Bundle does not require a specific internet carrier to function. However, it does require a stable Wi-Fi connection from your existing home network. -Sarge

Do both phones you hook up have to be from Verizon?

You can connect a maximum of 100 devices to a single Blink account to access your Video Doorbell, but only one person can view the "Live View" from the doorbell at a time, according to Blink's multi-client feature. To connect additional phones, simply download the Blink app and log in with the same account credentials.
