Charge in the United States and abroad.

Coming from the USA (where 110 is standard), does this adapter "scale down" the 220 power output in the UK - or does the voltage not matter? I don't really understand the different voltage concept, but I am worried about inadvertently "frying" my phone.

Does this device act as a transformer from 220 to 110? I don't want to blow out my phone and iPad.

You don't have to worry about your phone or iPhone blowing up. The Auto Detect IC Technology automatically detects the device type and its specific charging needs for improved compatibility. It does 5V/2.4A output from the outlet. - Baldo

my husband has a DROID TURBO 2 32 GB and i have a Note 5 for some reason the adapter to charge the phone stops working and taking charge becoming loose and not fitting correctly. Ive returned 3 times already

Is this adapter set correct to use with a DROID MAXX2 (Android Version: 6.0.1) by Motorola? Adapters must work in Mexico, Scotland and Ireland. Thank you.

I have checked my resources, and I can confirm that this charger kits is not compatible with your Droid Maxx 2 as this kit is made for USB type C connectors and your phone has a Micro USB connector. - Antonio
