Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I've had this for awhile and have not had any problems with it. However the last update it's had was in August of 2024 other than the apps from play store.

Service is so so if you don’t need to watch sports, Service is OK do not I do not recommend

This stream device is about 3x slower than the Verizon Stream TV device it is replacing. I am very disappointed in the performance.

It's too small, doesn't light up after a few months of usage. The number keys are note working properly anymore and there us no replacement, horrible

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I have received this TV soundbar as a perk for joining Verizon Home Internet. Leaving aside the fact that it took 3 months and hours and hours of calls to honor the promo they emailed me about and still available at the time on their website, the sound bar is terrible. I remember it was a nightmare to have installed and connected to the TV. I had it for exactly 2 years now, and every time I turn on the TV it starts jamming terribly at the volume you left the Tv at when you turned it off previously. So medium-high volume, medium-high volume of jamming. It's very frustrating. The only fix is to turn the TV off and back on. Also, while in use, it disconnects freely and randomly and it reconnects again by itself. I have it attached on a mount hanging under the TV and hardwired via HDMI. No reason to lose connection. The sound quality is ok, nothing spectacular. I would not pay for such and item, neither would I recommend it to anyone. Can get a refurbished one for much less than $500+tax and obtain way much better sound quality.

This offer was one of the things that convinced me to go with Verizon. Was great for the first year. Now that the soundbar App Store stopped working, and Verizon won't replace it, I'm stuck having to purchase a new system. So sure, was a good offer, but not one that lasted long enough. Disappointed, since Verizon has no customer service for the soundbar itself, and nobody was willing to send me a replacement.

Can I watch regular TV with this box, or do I need to go through an app to do that

This box does not support regular TV. You are able to use the stream box for apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV app etc.

Can the stream device get connectivity through the USB-C?

Yes, but not directly for a standard internet connection; the Verizon Stream TV device gets its data via a specialized USB-C adapter, which is the Verizon Stream TV MoCA Ethernet Adapter. This adapter connects to your router (via Ethernet or coax), and then provides both power and data to the Stream TV device through a single USB-C cable. The USB-C port on the Stream TV device by itself is only used for power. -Red

I dont have a Verizon account. How do i set the soundbar up? It keeps asking me to sign into Verizon.
