Perfect Size with Great Performance

Chris89 - 1 hour ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

To me this is the perfect size. Roughly the same overall size as an iPhone 6,7 or 8 but with squared edges and and full display. I have big hands and have no issues using it. Performance is phenomenal but I did switch from a SE (2016) so I’ve jumped way up. I got the Pacific Blue and it’s gorgeous. The only thing I have a gripe about is it comes with the charging cable and it is USB-C not the older USB style so I have to buy a charging block because it’s not included. Not a huge deal but more annoying than anything. I got the clear mag safe Apple case with it and it’s perfect. Haven’t used the camera yet but it’s Apple so I’m not worried. I doubt you’ll regret buying this particular iPhone.

Perfect

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

No issues with the battery tho some say it died fast. And I use the phone a lot. Screen looks amazing and never any touch issues even with a screen protector, yet some say it’s unresponsive and talk bad on this mini I phone. In my pocket it’s not overly big and I have a nice leather case on it. Feels perfect in your hand and easy to hold. I have the X also and I can’t use that phone without some type of case without feeling like it’s gonna slip outta my hand. I’ve gone almost three days without a charge. A lot of H8ers out there gonna say whatever but it’s honestly a perfect smartphone for people that don’t need a tv sized phone. One hand operation and fastest I phone today.

Impressive mobile device

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Size: palm perfect. Form: thoughtfully tailored. Function: continually impressive. Experience: top notch. I chose to switch to iOS after 10+ years of other & selected my iPhone 12 Mini for the transition. Having done pretty extensive research prior, I expected everything to be adequate enough to achieve & maintain my happiness with these choices. However, turns out that I now find myself challenged to express exactly how overjoyed I am with this device after ~3mo of ownership. The most common complaint I’ve seen (and I’m sure you have, too) about this device is the battery life. Unfortunately, that’s only true when it’s considered that the overwhelming majority of people who are in possession of smartphones use them for what they should rather be utilizing desktop/laptop computers for and not constantly their mobile device. I easily & consistently get 48-60hrs device on-time from 100%-0% battery; I can increase that time to 72+hrs if I tried. Full disclosure: I have extremely limited social media presence relative to what’s typical these days. If that does not sound like you: consider getting a different device equipped with a larger battery that’s designed to better handle excessive demand. If you’d like my opinions/advice for increasing the already great battery life of your iPhone 12 Mini: 1) turn OFF 5G (Settings>Cellular>Cellular Data Options>Voice & Data) and only use when actually needed (if it’s even available in your area) to transmit very large amounts of data over cellular service very quickly; 2) alter motion settings (Settings>Accessibility>Motion) like Reduce Motion: ON & Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions: OFF if suitable for you; 3) turn OFF background app refresh (Settings>General>Background App Refresh) for ALL apps you don’t require to have their data refreshed frequently when they aren’t open and being actively used 4) alter iCloud backup settings (Settings>*box with your name at very top of page*>iCloud) to backup only what you actually need backed up 5) alter display & brightness settings (Settings>Display & Brightness) for “Dark” appearance, Night Shift: Sunrise to Sunset, & Auto-Lock: 30sec if suitable for you. Also, consider spending less time on your smart device to actually live life to the fullest and use your phone as mostly just a phone when needed. Other complaints I’ve heard: Touchscreen issues: I haven’t experienced any touchscreen issues (could be attributed to moisture on screen/improper screen protector install/icons on screen set too small by user which can be adjusted in Settings>Display & Brightness) Poor sound volume/quality: I find volume for both calls & media can be exceptionally loud (possibly wrong volume seeing attempting to be adjusted by user to fix because can adjust call speaker volume as well as media volume individually) Messages not received/sending; I use native iOS messaging and experience no such problems (maybe poor cellular or WiFi connection and possibly even the messaging app used itself by user) To sum my review up, my iPhone 12 Mini is the best mobile device I’ve ever owned.

An Excellent Flagship, only smaller

OneBuckFilms - 8 hours ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

The 12 Mini sports the latest camera technology, 5G (both Sub-6 and mmWave) for areas that support it, and a blazing A14 CPU. The only negative issue for power users is the smaller battery size inherent in the smaller form factor, however for most casual users the battery should last the day. It is recommended to get a separate 20W USB-C charger brick since there is no charger in the box for any of the iPhone 12 models.

FINALLY!

green - 7 hours ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is truly the perfect phone, and I think it was the most exciting product announced this year. Finally, Apple releases a high-end phone that properly fits in your hand/pocket. It's a phone. It's suppose to be portable, and suppose to be comfortable to use with one hand. It's suppose to be thin & light. Apple has moved away from that ideology ever since launching the iPhone 6, and I'm so happy they've gone back to a smaller form factor. Steve Jobs was right. Smaller is better when it comes to smartphones. I upgraded from the 11 Pro to this iPhone 12 mini, and my old 11 Pro feels like a brick in comparison. It was so heavy and difficult to use with one hand. I really hope Apple keeps releasing new iPhone mini's for years to come, I have never been more excited for a new iPhone. THANK YOU APPLE!

Battery Help

BKay - 7 hours ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Everyone who is having issues with their battery life needs to go in and turn off the 5G!!!!! The 5G feature will drain your battery if you do not turn it off because there really is not much 5G yet. Love the SMALL phones. I would NEVER carry around a flippin tablet as a phone, ugh I don't know how people have huge phones. Had my iphone 7 FOREVER because I refused to by a HUGE dumb "phone". Perfect if you like smaller phones and great features.
