Thank you for your feedback. DuraForce PRO 3 is lighter than the previous model, DuraForce Ultra. Based on customer feedback, our mechanical engineers designed DuraForce PRO 3 to be smaller, lighter, and with a removable battery while still meeting the same drop and waterproof tests. It is easier to hold and carry. Since it is lighter than DuraForce Ultra, it lands with less force, so it withstands drops better. The raised, reinforced edges and corners take the brunt of impacts and a cover that flexes is less likely to dent or crack. We are confident that this design will satisfy the vast majority of users who need an ultra-rugged smartphone.

DuraForce PRO 3 is ultra-rugged while providing plenty of processing power to meet the needs of most users. However, the Galaxy Note 20 has an edge when it comes to the processor speed and the amount of RAM. If you used the default Android process and simply transferred all of your apps and files from a Galaxy Note 20 to DuraForce PRO 3, that might bog it down. However, if you were to review your list of apps and pare it down a little, DuraForce PRO 3 may serve you quite well.

We did extensive testing on that OS update prior to release, and after it was released many people have been using the OS 15 build without seeing problems. Based on the wide variety of problems you are seeing, it is possible that they are not all related to each other and they may not be directly related to the OS update. Thank for your feedback. When designing DuraForce PRO 3, our engineering team carefully considered which material to use for the display and chose to use a strengthened glass instead of sapphire. The scratch resistance of the strengthened glass has improved over the years, so that it is almost as scratch resistant as sapphire, while still being more shatter resistant. In addition, it has better optical properties, including lower reflectivity, better transmittance, and improved color gamut & contrast. So, DuraForce PRO 3 display will look better and be easier to see clearly in bright light while consuming less battery for the backlighting. Furthermore, DuraForce PRO 3 is designed and tested to withstand drops of up to 1.5m onto concrete, however, we do realize that screens can break under certain scenarios. Our rugged phones come with Kyocera’s Standard 2-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. The damage to your phone may be covered under the warranty, but we would need to examine it to make that determination. Is the pro 3 as tough as the ultra

Does the camera have an image stabilizer?
DuraForce PRO 3 does support image stabilization when taking both photos and videos. It is enabled all the time when taking photos and can be turned on or off for taking videos.
