9 months in- 5 stars!

Patfan - 1 month ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Have had the Moto G Power for 9 months. I have had no issues with the phone. Calls are clear, reception is great. Wifi works perfectly, I can pick up my home wifi from over 200 ft away! Battery life is fantastic, with 1.5-2 days with average usage. I would buy this phone again without question.

A great all around performing phone

Don 1 - 1 month ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I'll start off by saying I've had bad Android phone experiences in the past so since around 2016 I've been a firm iPhone loyalist. Had an iPhone 6s plus till I got the new iPhone SE 2020. That phone had a number of issues with wifi and Bluetooth connection plus bad call quality in regards to the speaker. About 3 days ago, I got this Moto G Power and I gotta say that this phone has restored my faith in Android again. It has great performance in every area and honestly, despite my iPhone SE having the newest A13 chip the G Power is as good while being a mere fraction of the price. If you're looking for an excellent phone and either can't afford or won't spend the money on higher priced phones, you can't go wrong with the Moto G Power.

Much Needed Upgrade

Ben K - 1 day ago

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

We needed to make a new phone purchase and we didn't want to spend a lot. This was a really good balance of improvements and pricing. The other reviews we read were pretty accurate. The only feature, not really a biggie, is the fact that the device puts photos in the Google cloud for minimization of storage space. That's easily remedied with a MicroSD chip. The learning curve for the new gestures is not real bad, but some of the icons are more like Apple than Droid. Camera is not a giant leap forward in resolution, but its features, like the wide-angle and the macro, are exceptional! All-in-all, a really nice move considering the previous phone was heading into the software support graveyard...

1. Battery must be substantially depleted; charging rate slows as charging progresses. All battery life claims are approximate and based on the median user tested across a mixed use profile (which includes both usage and standby time) under optimal network conditions. Actual battery performance will vary and depends on many factors including signal strength, network and device settings, temperature, battery condition, and usage patterns.
2. Compared to the measured area of the main 78° (FOV) camera in the same aspect ratio.
3. In Quad Pixel mode, the 16 MP sensor combines 4 pixels into 1, for an effective photo resolution of 4 MP.
4. As compared to a bass response on a single speaker, based upon internal testing against Motorola and select competitive single-speaker smartphones. Results may vary.
5. Supports up to 512GB microSD card, microSD cards sold separately.
6. Water-repellent design creates a barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water such as accidental spills, splashes or light rain. Not designed to be submerged in water, or exposed to pressurized water, or other liquids; may diminish over time. Not waterproof.
