Check Voicemail while Traveling Internationally

This page explains how to access your voicemail messages while traveling abroad.

Wireless networks in certain countries won't let you call your own mobile number. As a result, you'll need to use a different method to check your voicemail messages.

You can either use Visual Voicemail or call our alternate voicemail number to check your messages:

  • Visual Voicemail: If you have a data connection where you're traveling, you can use Visual Voicemail to access your voicemail messages. With iPhone, Visual Voicemail is included on your device and account. If you have an Android™ device you can add Visual Voicemail to your account online in My Verizon for $2.99/month.
  • Alternate voicemail number: Call +1 (845) 613-8700, then follow the prompts to confirm or enter your mobile number.
