- The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or older (19 years of age or older if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska); and a Verizon postpaid wireless or Verizon Home Internet (“VHI”) customer, in good standing (as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion), prior to September 7, 2026 and at the time the prize is awarded. VHI includes 5G Home Internet, VHI Lite Home Internet, LTE Home Internet, and Fios Home Internet.
- Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries and franchisees, and any other company or organization associated with the Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes Entities”); the National Basketball Association (the “NBA”), NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, and the NBA member teams (collectively, the “NBA Entities”); New York Knicks, LLC, Sphere Entertainment Co., Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., and all of their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “MSG Entities”); and the immediate family members of each or those living in their same household, are not eligible to participate. “Immediate family members” include spouses, grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren, whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, cohabitation or other family extension.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
These Official Rules contain limitations on liability and a binding arbitration clause that entrants must review and agree to prior to entering the Sweepstakes or accepting a prize.
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Verizon Corporate Services Group Inc. (“Sponsor”), One Verizon Way, Basking Ridge, New Jersey 07920. The Sweepstakes is administered by Genesco Sports Enterprises, Inc. (“Administrator”), 5944 Luther Lane, Suite 500, Dallas TX 75225.
- The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 7, 2026 and ends at 8:59:59 p.m. ET on September 13, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The computer administering the Sweepstakes is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
- During the Sweepstakes Period, open the MyVerizon app (“App”), click on Shine and look for the Sweepstakes tile. Follow the entry prompts to complete the Sweepstakes registration form. If you do not already use the App, download it on your web-enabled mobile device and complete the login process to use it. Entrants should check their wireless service account for details on any applicable charges if entering via a mobile phone or device. Entrants are solely responsible for any wireless charges associated with entering the Sweepstakes.
- All entrants must have a valid email address. The name of the person submitting the entry must be the Authorized Account Holder of the email address used to enter, otherwise, entry may be deemed void. Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. If there is a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be attributed to the Authorized Account Holder of the email address provided during submission. The “Authorized Account Holder” is the person who is assigned to the email address by the online service provider. The potential winners may be required to provide identification sufficient to show that they are the Authorized Account Holder of such email account. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than one (1) entry per person by using multiple/different identities or registrations, or any other methods, will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes. If it is discovered that an entrant used robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar methods of entry (including, but not limited to, sweepstakes entry services), all entries by that entrant shall be voided.
- Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned.
- Entry Limit: Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of the service(s) you have; meaning: Limit one (1) Entry per mobile telephone number for mobile customers, or limit one (1) Entry per VHI account for home internet customers, for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
- Four (4) Prizes: Each prize consists of a trip for winner and winner’s one (1) guest to New York City for a "Get Ready With Me" experience with Jordyn Woods prior to a New York Knicks basketball game at the arena Madison Square Garden (“Experience”). The trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation (originating from a major airport near winner’s home) for winner and winner’s guest; double-occupancy hotel accommodations for two (2) nights (one room); one (1) $500.00 ride-share service gift card (subject to terms and conditions as set by issuer); and two (2) tickets to a New York Knicks game at the arena Madison Square Garden (the “Game”). Exact Game date and travel dates shall be determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, at a date later than the publication of these Official Rules but is expected to occur in October 2026. The Experience, including the meet-and-greet portion with Jordyn Woods, has no cash value, is non-transferable, and no cash substitution will be provided if the Experience becomes unavailable for any reason or if the winner unable, ineligible or chooses not to use it. The nature, duration, and all details of the Experience (including exact seat locations for the Game) shall be determined, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. See below for all Prize Conditions.
- Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize is up to $4,400.00. The ARV is dependent upon the city/date/time of departure of all necessary flights. Total ARV of all prizes is $17,600.00
- Prize Conditions: Ground transportation, parking, meals, upgrades, gratuities, souvenirs, luggage fees, and all other expenses not expressly specified herein are solely the winner’s responsibility. Winner and guest must be able to travel on dates specified by Sponsor (at the time of prize notification – see Section 4), or prize will be forfeited and, time permitting, awarded to an alternate winner. A minor child may accompany winner as a guest only if minor’s parent or legal guardian is the winner. A minor guest must be accompanied at all times during all prize-related events by minor’s parent or legal guardian. Once the guest is selected, they may not be substituted, except at Sponsor's sole and absolute discretion. Should the winner elect to travel independently, no compensation or substitution will be provided for the unused portion. Winner must use Sponsor’s designated travel agent for all trip arrangements. If the winner resides within two-hundred fifty (250) miles of Madison Square Garden, $200.00 will be awarded to the winner in lieu of air transportation. Selection of hotel, airports, airline flights and seating assignments on the flights are solely within Sponsor’s discretion. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability and change. Government restrictions and regulations, hotel, airline, airport, or other transportation terminal (or other types of transportation) restrictions and regulations and other restrictions may apply. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for canceled, delayed, suspended, or rescheduled events (including, but not limited to airline flights) or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carriers, hotels, venue operators, transportation companies, prize providers or any other persons providing any prize-related services or accommodations beyond its reasonable control. Upon hotel check-in, winner must present a valid government-issued photo identification and valid, major credit card and will be responsible for any incidentals and fee/services not included in the prize. Winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g., Real ID or passport) required for travel within the United States. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary. Airline tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable and are not valid for upgrades and/or frequent flyer miles. All airline tickets are subject to flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance), at their option, and hereby acknowledge that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Lost, stolen, or damaged airline tickets or any other prize element will not be replaced or exchanged. In the event the winner and/or winner’s guest misses a scheduled airline flight (through no fault of any of the Sweepstakes Entities or due to a Force Majeure Event), the Sweepstakes Entities will have no liability for any costs associated with changing or rebooking transportation. Winner is responsible for any loss of prize or portion of any prize after it has been delivered. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the prize at any time and send winner and their guest home immediately if winner and/or their guest engages behavior that is illegal or is non-sportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any time during the trip. Winner understands that there are inherent risks involved in travel and that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip.
If the winner is unable or ineligible to attend the Game on the date specified by Sponsor (at the time of notifications), the prize will be forfeited. The Released Parties (defined in Section 7) are not liable or otherwise responsible for canceled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled Game. Winner will not receive compensation from Sponsor, MSG Entities or NBA Entities in the event of Game delay, postponement, or cancellation. Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions, including but not limited to terms regarding Game rescheduling or cancellation. Game tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture. Ticket redemption may require a mobile ticketing app and is subject to terms and conditions as stated thereon and provided via such mobile ticketing platform. Winner may be required to provide a valid email address, download the applicable mobile ticketing app to their mobile device, and present tickets at the venue via mobile device. Data rates may apply. Winner is solely responsible for any such wireless or data charges associated with such use, including the downloading and use of mobile ticket app. Seating assignments at the Game are in Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Released Parties will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of or the restriction on fans attending the Game. Sponsor, MSG Entities and the NBA Entities are not liable for any missed events or opportunities or expenses incurred because of any transportation delay or in the event winner and/or a guest is late to the Game (through no fault of Sponsor, MSG Entities, NBA Entities, other Released Parties, or due to Force Majeure Event). Winner and guest may be required to produce government-issued identification prior to entering the Game. Winner agrees to comply with all MSG Entities’, NBA Entities’ and venue policies and regulations, including without limitation, all health and safety protocols, at all times. NBA Entities, MSG Entities, Sponsor and/or other Released Parties reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or their guest if they engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or behave with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the Game or are intoxicated, a safety risk, violate any venue policy or fail to comply with the venue’s (or its designee’s) health and safety protocols. - The potential winners will be selected by a random drawing, conducted by the Administrator in its sole discretion, on or about September 14, 2026 from among all eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes
- Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Limit one (1) prize per Verizon postpaid wireless or VHI account.
- The potential winners will be notified by the Administrator, via email, within one (1) business day of the random drawing. Potential winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification to proceed with the prize award process and comply with additional instructions to be provided by Administrator. If a potential winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, an alternate winner will be selected, in Sponsor’s sole discretion (time permitting).
- Each potential winner will also be required to complete, sign and return an IRS Form W-9 (including their social security number) and an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release with a Publicity Release (where lawful) within seventy-two (72) hours from the day and time of the email notification. Upon verification of the winner’s eligibility and acceptance of the prize, the Administrator will email the winner’s guest a Liability/Travel Release which must be completed and returned within seventy-two (72) hours of the email. If the winner selects their minor child or legal ward as their guest, then the Liability/Travel Release will be sent to the winner who must complete and return the document within seventy-two (72) hours of the email.
- Background Check Requirement for each winner and their guest: Each potential winner and winner’s guest may be required to consent to a background check. If required, the potential winner and their guest must pass the background check to the Sponsor’s satisfaction, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. In the event the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate potential winner from among all remaining eligible entries received (time permitting).
- If (a) any notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, (b) a potential winner does not properly respond to a Sweepstakes notification (as stated above), (c) any required documents are not returned within the required time period (as stated above) or (d) a potential winner cannot be verified according to the specific prize requirements or is otherwise unable to accept the prize as stated herein, such prize may be forfeited, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Upon forfeiture for any reason, no compensation shall be given. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for suspended or discontinued internet or wireless service or a change in a potential winner’s phone number, email address or mailing address which may result in a potential winner not receiving a prize notification or prize. Sponsor is not responsible for undelivered emails, including notifications diverted to spam or junk folders by the winner’s email settings.
- Additional prize information will be provided to the potential winners at time of winner notification and/or confirmation.
- Any government employee who wins a prize may be subject to their jurisdiction's ethics and gift rules. Such winner is responsible for abiding by all applicable ethics and gift rules of their jurisdiction.
- By entering, entrants agree to abide by all terms and conditions and decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
- Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit. Any difference between the stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Any unclaimed prize will not be awarded. If a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Winners will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize, if any. Administrator will provide tax reporting forms to the appropriate federal and state authorities and the winners to the extent required by applicable law. Each confirmed winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of their prize.
- If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, then the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
- Termination. If Sponsor cancels, terminates, modifies, or suspends this Sweepstakes for any reason (including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes), Sponsor will select the potential winners by random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received during the Sweepstakes Period prior to termination or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If Sponsor does so, Sponsor will post notice of its action on the App.
- Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision of these Official Rules.
- By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, the NBA Entities, MSG Entities, and each of their respective affiliates, employees, directors, officers, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”), and Instagram and Meta, from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize, including travel thereto (if any). The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) entrant’s participation in or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes or ability or inability to upload or download any information in connection with the Sweepstakes; (b) hardware or software errors, faulty computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic, wireless or internet connectivity or other online or network communication problems; (c) errors or limitations of any internet or wireless providers, servers, hosts or other providers; (d) garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; (e) failure of any online transmissions to be sent or received; (f) lost, late, delayed or intercepted transmissions; (g) inaccessibility of the App in whole or in part for any reason; (h) traffic congestion on the Internet and/or the App; (i) unauthorized human or non-human intervention of the operation of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, unauthorized tampering, hacking, theft, virus, bugs or worms; (j) destruction of any aspect of the Sweepstakes; or (k) loss, miscount, misdirection, inaccessibility or unavailability of an email account used in connection with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical, technical, computer, network or human errors which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes; the uploading, processing of entries; or the announcement of the prize in any sweepstakes-related materials. Use of the App is at entrant’s own risk. The Released Parties are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind which may be sustained to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or web-enabled device resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, is discontinued for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received.
- The Released Parties are not responsible for any damages to, or loss of the prize or any portion thereof caused by the winner’s actions, including but not limited to theft, neglect, or abuse of the prize.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability, so the above may not apply to every entrant.
- Any personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the Sweepstakes and will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy available at https://www.verizon.com/about/privacy.
- Sponsor and its affiliates will not be held responsible for any delay, cancellation, suspension, postponement, or rescheduling of the event due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety (“Force Majeure”).
- THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY IN NEW YORK COUNTY, NEW YORK. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY JAMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“JAMS RULES”). THE JAMS RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN NEW YORK. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. ENTRANTS AGREE THAT THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ANY ENTRANT AND/OR ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORTING TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION. ANY DEMAND FOR ARBITRATION MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE END OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR THE CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE FOREVER BARRED.

- Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Sweepstakes shall be directed to the Sponsor and not to Instagram or Meta.
- All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
- The National Basketball Association and its member teams and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, members, representatives, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. The NBA Entities have not offered or sponsored the Sweepstakes in any way.
