Activate / Set Up Device - 4G Prepaid Hotspot

Activate your 4G Prepaid Hotspot to get started. This ensures your Wi-Fi capable devices can connect to the internet from your hotspot.
This is a general prepaid activation article. If you need additional help and know the name / model of the Verizon device you're activating, specific instructions are available.
  1. Snap the SIM card out of its holder without touching the gold electrical contacts.
  2. Insert the SIM card into the Hotspot.

  3. Connect a Wi-Fi enabled device to the Hotspot.
    Instructions vary by device.
  4. On a device connected to the Hotspot, open an internet browser.
    The Activation Portal automatically opens.
  5. Navigate to the Verizon activation page then follow the onscreen steps.
