Samsung Galaxy S® 6 / S® 6 edge - Clear Temporary Internet Files
Clearing temporary internet files on your Galaxy S6 / S6 edge can improve browser speed, free-up space, and help guard your online privacy from websites you’ve previously visited.
If unable to access the app, temporary Internet files can also be cleared by reset the browser app. However, utilizing this method results in all settings/preferences (e.g., browser bookmarks) being cleared.
- From the Chrome™ browser, tap theMenu icon

- TapSettings.
- From the Advanced section, tapPrivacy.
- TapCLEAR BROWSING DATA.
- From the Clear browsing data prompt, select any of the following then tapCLEAR:
- Browsing historyA listing of URLs (website addresses) that you like to visit.
- CacheYour website visits content is stored on the device. The cache enables the browser to download only the content that has changed since the last time you went to a website. Since the browser only downloads changed content, pages are loaded faster.
- Cookies, site dataSome cookies contain customized preference and login information for past websites you like to visit. If you delete this, the website may prompt for this info again.
- Saved passwords
- Autofill data
