Restart in Safe Mode - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Restarting your LG G Pad X8.3 in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered on, press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until 'Power off' displays on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until 'Restart in safe mode' displays.
  3. From Restart in safe mode, tap
    Turn On Safe Mode
    .
    This restart process may take up to 1 minute to complete.
    Upon restart, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock / Home screen.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
