Edit Access Point Name (APN) - MiFi® 4G LTE Global USB Modem U620L

Here's how to edit Access Point Names (APNs) on your USB Modem U620L.
Changing advanced settings may be harmful to the stability, performance, and security of the Jetpack. Contact your local IT admin prior to altering any of these settings.
LTE Access Point Name (APN) Definitions
:
  • vzwims
    : Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
  • vzwadmin
    : Used for administrative functions.
  • vzwinternet
    : Required for general internet connections.
  • vzwapp
    : Required for PDA data service.
  • vzwcf
    : Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
  • xx.vzwentp
    : Used for connections to mobile private networks.
    'xx' would be replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
  • xx.vzwstatic
    : Used for static IP connections.
    'xx' would be replaced by the appropriate static IP pool identifier.
  2. From the left menu, click
    Settings
    .
  3. From the Networks tab, click
    Show More Options
     (lower-left).
  4. From the 4G LTE APN field, edit the APN as required.
  5. Click
    Save Changes
     (lower-right).
