Push to Talk Plus - 4G Basic Phone - Group Calls
Here's how to make or receive Push to Talk+ group calls on your 4G Basic Phone.
Calls can only be completed to contacts that are in "Available" status. Attempting to call a contact whose status is "Offline" or "Do Not Disturb" results in an error message.
Making Calls
- From the main screen, chooseMenu.Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.
- SelectAppsthen selectPTT PLUS.Alternatively press thePush To Talk key(located on the left side of the device).
- From the Groups tab, select the appropriate group then press thePush To Talk key.To make a Quick Group Call, select individual contacts from the Contacts tab.Selected when a check mark
is present.
- While holding thePush To Talk keythePTT iconturns red indicating your voice can be heard by the other call participants.Release the PTT Key to allow the other call participants to speak.After the initial chirp tone thePTT icon
turns gray indicating the call is connected.
- To end the call, press theright soft keyto choose Options then selectEnd Call.
Receiving Calls
- If a PTT+ call is received while on another call, aMissed call alert icondisplays on the status bar. The missed PTT+ call can be returned directly from the alert pressing thePush To Talk key(located on the left side of the device).
