Add a Payment Card

Adding a payment card (e.g., credit cards, debit cards, etc.) to your Google Wallet™ allows you to use Google Pay services where accepted, in-store and online.

Before you begin

A secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN, etc.) is required to use Google Wallet.
Download and install Google Wallet from the Google Play™ Store.

Steps

  1. From the app, tap
    Add to Wallet
    .
  2. Tap an account type (e.g., Payment card, Transit pass, Gift card, etc.).
  3. Line up the payment card in the photo viewer then take a picture.
    Alternatively, tap
    Or enter details manually
     then enter the required info (e.g., card number, expiration date, etc.).
  4. Enter the 3-digit security (CVC) number on the back of the card.
  5. Enter the street address.
  6. Confirm the card details then tap
    Save and continue
    .
  7. Review the Terms of Service then tap
    Save and continue
     to complete the process.
