Power Up in Safe Mode - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     on the top-right edge of the device until the LG logo appears on the screen then release.
    Allow several seconds for the logo to appear.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. With the LG logo still on the screen, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock screen then release.
    This may take up to 30 seconds.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
