Samsung Pay® - Add a Card

Here's how to add a credit / debit card to your Samsung Pay account.
  1. From the Samsung Pay app, tap
    Add Card
    .

    If this is the first payment card to be added, tap the
    Add icon
     Add (located at the bottom).
  2. Align the card inside the frame to automatically detect the card number and expiration date.
    If the card can't be detected, tap
    Enter card manually
    .
  3. Enter the remaining info (e.g., security code, ZIP code, etc.) then tap
    Next
     (located in the lower-right).
  4. If requested, enter the billing address then tap
    Save
    .
  5. Review the Terms of Service then tap
    Agree To All
    .
  6. If necessary, select one of the following methods to authenticate your identity:
    If SMS or Email are selected, a one-time password is sent to the device.
    • SMS
    • Email
    • Call Bank
    • Later
      If selected, the card can't be used in Samsung Pay until verified.
  7. Enter the received password then tap
    Submit
    .
  8. Tap
    Done
    .
    After a card is added, it must be verified by the payment card network and the card issuer before you can use it (can take up to 10 minutes).
    You can register up to 10 payment cards in Samsung Pay.
