Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge - Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.
  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Accounts
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the applicable Gmail address.
  4. Tap
    Sync account
    .
  5. Select the applicable data sync options (e.g., Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail, etc.) to turn on or off.
  6. To perform a manual synchronization:
    1. Tap the

    2. Tap
      Sync now
