Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge - Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.
When turned on, 'Power saving mode' reduces your device's performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Device Maintenance
    Battery
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • For Medium power saving mode:
      1. Tap
        MID
         from the 'Power saving mode' section.
      2. Review the setting changes then tap
        APPLY
         to turn on.
        To change the settings before applying, tap
        DETAILS
         and adjust as desired then tap
        APPLY
        .
      3. To turn off, navigate:
        Apps
        Settings
        Device Maintenance
        Battery
         then tap
        OFF
        .
    • For Maximum power saving mode:
      1. Tap
        MAX
         from the 'Power saving mode' section.
      2. Review the setting changes then tap
        APPLY
         to turn on.
        To change the settings before applying, tap
        DETAILS
         and adjust as desired then tap
        APPLY
        .
      3. To turn off, tap the
        Menu icon
         then tap
        Turn off Maximum power saving mode
        .
