Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) - Link / Unlink Contacts

Your Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (e.g., Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error it can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    .
  2. Tap a contact to link.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (located in the upper right).
    For Prepaid devices, tap
    More
    .
  4. Adjust as desired by doing the following:
    • To link to another contact:
      1. Tap
        Link contacts
        .
      2. Select the contact to link to from your contact list then tap
        Link
        .
    • To unlink a contact:
      1. Tap
        Manage linked contacts
        .
      2. Tap the
        Minus symbol
         next to the contact to unlink.
