Here's how to manage volume controls if your Galaxy J3 V / J3 doesn't vibrate or make sounds when receiving calls, texts or emails.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Sounds and vibrations
    Volume
    .
  3. Adjust any of the options (e.g., Ringtone, Media, Notifications, etc.) then tap
    OK
    .
    If unable to adjust the volume, verify the 'Turn Off All Sounds' setting is disabled.
To turn off all sounds, navigate:
Settings app
Accessibility
Hearing
 then tap
Turn off all sounds
 to turn on.
