Manage Data UsageYour Apple® iPhone® helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.
Before you begin
Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapCellular.
- Do one of the following:
- To view / manage data usage:
- View the overall cellular data usage for the 'Current Period' and 'Current Period Roaming'.
- View the individual apps cellular data usage.
- To view the data used by system services, tapSystem Services.
- To reset the usage statistics, tapReset Statisticsthen tapReset Statisticsto confirm.
- To manage Data Mode:
- TapCellular Data Options.
- TapData Modethen select from the following options (e.g., Allow More on 5G, Standard, etc.).
- Tap theBack arrow.
- TapVoice and Datathen select from the following options (e.g., 5G Auto, 5G On, etc.).
