Turn Data On / Off

Turning data on your Apple® iPhone® provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Cellular
     then do any of the following:
    • To turn data on / off, tap the
      Cellular Data switch
      .
      For Dual SIM, tap
      Cellular Data
       then tap
      Off
      .
    • To allow / deny data roaming:
      1. Tap
        Cellular Data Options
        .
        For Dual SIM, tap the desired line then proceed to next step.
      2. Tap the
        Data Roaming switch
         to turn on.
