Here's how to set up Siri for your iPhone and choose when it's available via voice commands.

Open the

Settings app

on your Apple® iPhone®.

Tap

Apple Intelligence & Siri

Tap

Listen for

then select one of the following:

up 'Hey Siri'.

"Siri" or "Hey Siri"

"Hey Siri"

Off

Tap the

Press Side Button for Siri switch

to turn on or off.

For iPhones with a Home button, tap the

Press Home for Siri switch

to turn on or off.

Tap the

Allow Siri When Locked switch

to turn on or off.

To manage additional settings, tap the preferred option (i.e., Language, Siri Voice, etc.).

Tap any of the following options (e.g., Show Suggestions, Show in Look Up, etc.) to turn or off.

Tap the preferred apps to use Siri with then tap any of the following to turn or off:
