Apple iPhone - Manage Guided Access Settings

Here's how to limit app / screen access or button presses on your iPhone.
Guided Access limits your Apple® iPhone® to a single app, allows users to disable areas of the screen which aren't relevant to the task and disables the Home, Power and Volume buttons.
  1. Open an app, then triple press the side button (right-side).
    For iPhones with a Home button, open an app then quickly triple press the
    Home button
    (at the bottom).
  2. Using your finger, circle areas of the screen to disable.
  3. Tap
    Options

  4. Tap any of the available switches (e.g., Sleep / Wake Button, Keyboards, etc.) to turn the following on or off then tap
    Done
    .
  5. Tap
    Start
    .
  6. If prompted, to 'Set Passcode':
    1. Enter a passcode.
    2. Re-enter passcode.
  • To end a session for iPhones without a Home button, triple press the side button, enter passcode then tap
    End
    .
    For iPhones with a Home button, quickly triple press the Home button, enter passcode then tap
    End
    .
  • To remove previously set restrictions from an active session:
    1. Quickly swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
      For iPhones with a Home button, triple press the
      Home button
      .
    2. Enter 4-digit passcode.
    3. Tap the
      X symbol
      next to any areas of the screen that have been disabled.
    4. Tap
      Options
      .
    5. Ensure the desired option switches are turned on then tap
      Done
      .
    6. Tap
      End
      .
