Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 7730L - MAC Filtering

Here's how to control MAC address access for your Verizon Jetpack MiFi 7730L.
  • MAC Filter is an advanced feature. Contact your local IT administrator prior to altering this setting.
  • If turned on, only the devices added to the MAC address filter list can access the jetpack's primary Wi-Fi network.
This MAC filter has no effect on the guest Wi-Fi network or USB devices.
  2. From the left menu, click
    Jetpack Settings
    .
  3. From the Advanced tab, click
    Continue
     (located on the right).
  4. Click
    MAC Filter
     (located below the Advanced tab, to the right).
  5. To add a device to the list, do the following:
    By default, any device that has previously connected to the jetpack already appears in the list.
    1. Click
      Add New Device
       (located in the lower-left).
    2. Configure/enter the following:
      • Type
      • Name
      • MAC Address
  6. Click
    Save Changes
     (located in the lower-right).
  7. To turn on MAC filtering, do the following:
    1. Select (check) the MAC Address Filter option located to the right of the corresponding device(s).
    2. Click
      Save Changes
       (located in the lower-right).
    3. Tap the
      MAC Filter switch
       to turn on.
    4. Tap
      Confirm
