Samsung Galaxy J7 V / Galaxy J7 - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Galaxy J7 V / Galaxy J7.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on Switch on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        CONNECT
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap (check)
        Show password
        .
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. From the Security field, tap the
        Dropdown menu
         Drop down menu icon.
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK, etc.).
      5. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
      6. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        FORGET
        .
