Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy S8 / S8+ by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Device care

Battery

Power mode

Perform one of the following:

To turn 'Power mode' off, tap

Optimized

For High performance mode:

Tap

High performance

Select the preferred Brightness and Screen resolution using the dropdown menus.

Tap

Apply

For Medium power saving mode:

Tap

Medium power saving

Select the preferred settings then tap

Apply

to turn on.

For Maximum power saving mode:
