LG G6 - Activate / Set Up Device

Here's how to quickly set up your LG G6.
To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     (located on the back of the device) until the LG logo appears then release.
  2. Select the appropriate Language then tap
    NEXT

  3. From the 'Phone activation' screen, confirm your phone number then tap
    NEXT

  4. Select a network then enter the password.
    If you choose 'SKIP', you can add Wi-Fi networks after setup is complete.

  5. From the 'Copy apps & data' screen, tap
    NEXT

    If troubleshooting, don't restore the device until all testing has been completed.

  6. Sign in to your existing Google account or create a new one.
    If you choose 'Skip', you can add your Google account after setup is complete.

  7. Enable any of the following then tap
    ACCEPT

    Enabled when the service is turned on On Switch.
    • Use location
    • Allow scanning
    • Send usage and diagnostic data

  8. From the 'Secure your phone' screen, select an option.
    If you choose 'No, thanks' you can add a screen lock or set up face or fingerprint recognition after setup is complete.

  9. From the 'Verizon Cloud' screen, tap

    If you choose 'Skip', you can set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.

    If you choose 'Skip', you can add an email account after setup is complete.
