Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Turn Screen Rotation On / Off

Here's how to check the display on your Galaxy S8 / S8 edge if it doesn't flip or rotate.
  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification panel.
  2. Tap
    Auto Rotate
    .
    Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. Simply turn the device to change the view.
  3. To return to Auto rotate, tap the current mode icon (i.e., Auto rotate, Lock rotation).
