Removing a Google™ (Gmail™) account from your Galaxy S8 / S8+ can be helpful when switching accounts, troubleshooting login or email sync issues, or ensuring your data stays private.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the applicable Gmail address.
  4. Tap the
    Remove Account
    .
  5. Tap
    Remove Account
     to confirm.
