LG G6™ - Turn Wi-Fi Calling On / Off

When turned on, Wi-Fi Calling may improve indoor call quality for your LG G6.
  1. To use Wi-Fi Calling, ensure your Wi-Fi is turned on and connected.
  2. Open the
    Phone app
     Phone icon.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  4. Navigate:
    Call settings
    Wi-Fi Calling
    .
  5. Tap the
    Wi-Fi Calling switch
     to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
    If turning off, tap
    TURN OFF WI-FI CALLING
     when prompted.
    If prompted, review and accept the Terms & Conditions, tap
    Continue
    , enter a valid E911 address then tap
    SAVE
    .
  • To select your calling preference while traveling outside the Verizon wireless coverage area or internationally, ensure Wi-Fi calling is turned on, tap
    When roaming
    , select 'Prefer other cellular networks' or 'Prefer Wi-Fi' then restart the device.
