Here's how to place a call on your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic.

When a call is placed from the watch, the recipient's caller ID displays the phone number of your companion smartphone.

From the watch screen press the

Home button

to open the apps screen.

Tap

Phone

Do one of the following:

Tap

Contacts

then select the applicable contact.

Turn the bezel to scroll through the Recents list then tap the applicable contact or phone number.

Tap the

Dial icon

then dial the 10-digit number.

Tap the

Call icon
