Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Install Apps

Here's how to download and install apps on your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic.
  • Apps are installed through the connected Android device and not the smartwatch.
  • Ensure the Galaxy Wearable app has been installed via the Play Store™ prior to beginning.
  1. From the main screen of the Galaxy Wearable app on the device, tap
    Galaxy Apps
    .
  2. Tap
    Categories
    .
    To download a specific app, tap the
    Search icon Search icon
    (located in the upper-right), ensure 'Watch' is selected then enter and select the app name.
  3. Tap a desired category to browse, then tap an app.
  4. Tap
    Install
    .
    If there is a charge for the app, tap the price (e.g., $1.99).
  5. Review the required app permissions then tap
    Allow and download
     to continue.
    If the required app permissions are not acceptable, tap
    CANCEL
     to exit.
    If Error 505 is received, the app being downloaded isn't optimized to the device. Contact the app developer.
  6. Tap
    OPEN
