Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Turn GPS Location On / Off

GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic to share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.

From the watch screen, press the

Home button

to open the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Connections

Tap

Location

to turn on or off.

Review the usage agreement then tap the

checkmark icon

Review the legal notice then tap the

checkmark icon

Select any of the following methods:

GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks

Wi-Fi and mobile networks
