Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Turn Data On / Off

Turning data on your Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.
  1. From the watch screen, open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Connections
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile networks,
     then do any of the following:
    • Turn Data On / Off
      1. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn on or off.
        Gear network must be set to 'Always on' for this setting to be accessible.
    • Allow / Deny Roaming
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Tap the
        Data Roaming Access switch
         to turn on or off.
      2. If prompted, review the disclaimer then tap the
        Checkmark icon
         to confirm.
