Samsung Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic - Set Date and Time

If your Gear S3 frontier / Gear S3 classic shows the incorrect date and/or time, here's how to correct it.
Date and time can only be adjusted when the Gear S3 is in Standalone mode. Otherwise, the date and time is pulled from the network or the companion smartphone.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Home button
     to open the apps screen.

  2. Tap 
    Settings
     Settings icon .
  3. Tap
    General
    .
  4. Tap
    Date & time
    .
    If necessary, tap
    Automatic
     to set the data and time manually.
  5. Tap
    Set date
    .
  6. Select the month, date and year then tap
    Done
     to set.
    To select, scroll to then tap the appropriate option.
  7. Tap
    Set time
    .
  8. Select the hour, minute and am / pm then tap
    Done
     to set.
    To select, scroll to then tap the appropriate option.
  9. Tap
    Select Time zone
    .
  10. Turn the bezel then tap
    All cities
     (bottom of the screen).
  11. Select the preferred city from the list.
