Verizon Messages (Message+) - 4G Basic Phone - Delete Messages

Here's how to delete messages via Verizon Messages (Message+) from your 4G Basic phone.

Delete a Single Message

  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  2. Select
    Message+
     then select Delete a Single Message.
  3. Highlight then select a message thread.
  4. Press the
    right soft key
     soft key to choose Options.
  5. Highlight "Edit Messages", then press the
    center button.

  6. Select the message to delete.
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to scroll up or down to the applicable message.
    Message is selected if a check mark is present. Press the
    center key
     to add or remove a checkmark.
  7. Press the
    right soft key
     to choose Delete.

  8. To confirm, select
    Delete
    .

Delete Threads

  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.
  2. Select
    Message+
     then select Delete Threads.
  3. Press the
    right soft key
     soft key to choose Options.
  4. Select
    Select Threads
    .
  5. Navigate to the applicable message thread(s) then press the
    center button
     to place a check mark next to the thread(s) you wish to delete.
    If needed, press the center button to unmark the selected thread(s) for deletion or press the left soft key to choose Unselect All.

    right soft key
     soft key to delete check marked messages.
  7. Select
    Delete
     to confirm delete.
