After being deleted, photos on your Apple® iPhone ® remain in the Recently Deleted album for 30 days. Learn how to permanently remove them to truly free up space and maintain your privacy.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Photos app
    .
  2. Tap
    Collections
    .
  3. Tap the
    Recently Deleted Album
    .
  4. Tap
    View Album
    .
  5. Tap the photo or video that you want to permanently delete.
  6. Tap
    Delete
    .
  7. To confirm, tap
    Delete From All Devices
    .
    Once you confirm deletion, you are unable to get the file back.
