ASUS ZenPad™ Z8s - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your ZenPad Z8s.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Data usage
     (Wireless & networks section).
  3. Tap
    Mobile data
     to turn on then do one of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Details
        .
      2. Tap the
        Menu icon
         Menu icon.
      3. Tap
        Billing cycle
        .
      4. Tap
        Billing cycle
         again. From the 'Usage cycle reset date' prompt, select the cycle date then tap
        SET
        .
        Refer to your statement for bill cycle date.
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap
        Limit
         to turn on.
      2. Enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.
      1. Tap
        Alert me
         to turn on.
      2. Enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
To view or limit individual app usage, refer to View / Restrict Data Usage by App.
