ZTE Cymbal® LTE - Master Reset

Here's how to restore your Cymbal to factory default settings.
A Factory Data Reset:
  • is the last resort for troubleshooting.
  • erases all data and restores preferences to factory default specifications.
  • is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted.
An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. From the main screen, select the

    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

    Settings Settings icon

  3. Select
    Phone Settings
    .
  4. Select
    Reset
    .
  5. Select
    Factory data reset
    .
    To include SD card, select
    Erase SD card
    .
  6. Select
    Reset
    Phone
    .
  7. Select
    Erase
    everything
    .
