KYOCERA Cadence LTE - Master Reset

Here's how to complete a master reset on your Cadence.
A factory data reset:
  • is the last resort for troubleshooting.
  • erases all data and restores preferences to factory default specifications.
  • is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted.
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    An alternate reset method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

  2. Navigate:
    Tools & Settings
    Settings
    Phone Settings
    Security
    .
  3. Select
    Reset phone
    .
  4. Enter your lock screen code or the last 4 digits of your mobile number.
  5. Press
    right soft key
     to choose
    Next
     after viewing info about resetting device.
  6. Select 'Yes' or 'No' to erase your SD card.
  7. Press the
    center button
     to choose Reset.
    Enter PIN if set up on device.
    If needed, set up your device.
