KYOCERA Cadence LTE - Factory Data Reset (Powered Off)

Here's how to factory / hard reset your Cadence LTE if the screen freezes or call, app, audio or sync issues occur and the device won't start up.
A master reset:
  • is the last resort for troubleshooting.
  • erases all data and restores preferences to factory default specifications.
  • is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted.
  1. Simultaneously press and hold the
    PWR/END key
     and the
    Volume down button
     until the System Recovery Screen appears.
    If the device is responsive and can be powered on, the preferred reset method should be performed.
  2. Press the
    Volume up/down buttons
     to highlight Factory data reset.
  3. Press
    PWR/END key
     to select Factory data reset.
  4. Press the
    Volume up/down buttons
     to highlight YES then press the
    Center button
     to select.
    If applicable, set up your device.
