Here's how to reset all settings if your Galaxy Note8 crashes, resets or runs slow, or apps freeze.
Performing these steps resets all system settings (e.g. ringtones, sound settings, display settings, etc.) back to their default values. Personal data, such as downloaded apps and media (pictures, videos, music), aren't affected.
  1. Open the

  2. Navigate:
    General management
    Reset
    Reset settings
    .
  3. Review the info then tap
    Reset settings

    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. To confirm, review the info then tap
