Magnification Gestures / Touch Zoom - Android™

Here's how to configure your magnification gestures on your Android smartphone or tablet.
  • Magnification gestures allows visually impaired users to zoom in and pan the whole screen.
  • Window zoom allows users to zoom in or out within a window and invert the color.
  • Available options may vary depending upon device.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings
    Accessibility
    (Vision)
    Magnification.
  2. Tap the 'Magnification gestures' or 'Touch zoom' switch to turn on on switch or off off switch.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To zoom, quickly tap the screen 3 times with one finger.
    • Drag 2 or more fingers to scroll.
    • Pinch 2 or more fingers together or apart to adjust zoom.
    • To zoom temporarily, quickly tap the screen 3 times and hold down your finger on the third tap.
    • Drag your finger to move around the screen.
    • Lift your finger to zoom out.
      You can't zoom in on the keyboard and navigation bar.
