If you've previously enrolled in Verizon Family and no longer need to monitor or control usage on the account, access the My Verizon website to remove the service.

Before you begin

Removing Verizon Family service removes existing limits, filters, restrictions, etc. from all lines on the account.
It may take up to 24 hours before Verizon Family is completely removed.

Steps

  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon as an Account Owner or Manager.
  2. From the Account Overview screen, navigate:
    Account
    My products & plan perks
    Verizon Smart Family
    .
  3. Select
    Unsubscribe
    .
  4. Review the change details then select
    Confirm
    .
