Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card into your S9 Galaxy S9 / S9+.
Don't attempt to insert the SIM card while the device is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and/or the device.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. From the top edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray then do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      Ensure the gold contacts are facing down, then press in on the card to lock into place.
      Insert SIM card
    • Remove SIM card
      Once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
      Remove SIM card
  3. Reinsert the SIM card tray then press to lock into place.
