Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Galaxy S9 / S9+.
  1. Open the
    Settings Settings icon
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on Switch on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
        Show password icon.
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        (scroll down if needed).
      2. From the Network name field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. From the Security field, tap the
        Dropdown menu icon
        Dropdown menu icon.
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA / WPA2-Personal, etc.).
      5. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
      6. Ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the
        Gear icon
        Gear icon next to the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
