Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy S9 / S9+ by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Device care
    Battery
    Power mode
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To turn off, tap
      Optimized
      .
    • To turn on, choose High performance, Medium power saving or Maximum power saving, then tap
      Apply
      .
  4. When on, configure any of the following:
    • Screen resolution
    • Brightness
    • Limit CPU speed
    • Turn off Always On Display
    • Restrict background data
